This machine is a glorified plotter I created in an iterative process. The code is being developed according to the physical qualities of the machine. I work with it in a dialog, where I have learned to nurture the mark-making qualities of the machine to reveal its inherent and procedural aesthetics through the drawings it creates.
In it’s current state, the drawing machine uses pens and markers to draw lines and points.
After successfully launching the project on Indiegogo in 2014, I have been developing code and machine further as well as participating to great shows and exhibitions.
