parallel - experimental art video

Collaborative work with sound artist Stuart Jones. we have been bouncing work back and forth, between visuals and sounds.

For the visuals, the effect is produced by the overlapping of the refraction of a fence on water (shot of the river Lea, Hackney), and the steps of an escalator (shot in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, Japan). The sound is a recording of water in pipes in a Madras hotel, slightly treated.

The oscillation between waves and the vertical construct reinforced by the escalator is also reflected on the frequencies and nature of sounds Stuart used.

The piece is 3 min 20 sec long. I don't think it has any epileptical effect, especially on the web, but still, beware.
