angela's ashes: typographic experience - experimental motion graphics
Based on the story by Frank McCourt, this short film narrates the emotions of the young irish boy who becomes man, through typographical rain.
This piece has been designed in collaboration with Sunghun Kang and Alexander Ng.
It was produced using various applications, such as photoshop in frame by frame, flash tweens and after effect keyframes.
The short film has travelled the world at various festivals (in more than 30 countries) and won numerous awards.
I wish to be able to work again with Sung and Alex, at least for the fun of seeing them arguing!
